How to play torrents

Let’s face it, bittorrent movies are downloaded by millions each day. People love movies and they will do almost anything to spend some quality time watching them – for free.

Requirements to watch movie torrents live:

1. Torrent Stream Player
2. URL of your .torrent movie (from torrent tracker)
3. Windows operating system

Torrent Stream, or shortly TS Player is just the modified and enhanced version of VLC player – with support for audio/video playback directly from .torrent files.

At first sight, TS Player is not much different than VLC.

This player is able to play torrents without waiting for content download from the torrent trackers. To open and watch .torrent files go to Media > Open Torrent Stream Player… or simply press CTRL+T on your keyboard:

New window will open and that is where you need to paste your .torrent URL from the torrent tracker:

Now, you need to wait for Prebuffering and buffering. This process highly depends on your internet speed. But in average, you have to wait for couple of minutes.

Once TS Player has finished buffering your video you can sit back and enjoy watching! Of course, you can add any subtitles you want – just like you do on VLC.

But that is not all! This player has another good and useful option:

Play Torrents in Browser

By downloading and installing this player, you will automatically install extensions for both, Google Chrome and Firefox which allows you to play torrents inside your browser.

Upon installation, new right-click menu item will be View Torrent Online, from which you can watch videos without leaving your browser window.

When you click on this menu, video player will popup right in front of you. This player has integrated playlist, so you can insert multiple movies for playback.
