I have to admit that I like free software, specially if it was once commercial. That’s about this FTP Client, it’s now free and gives you some “premium” functions and options, that was once reserved only for commercial software applications and releases.
Of course, If you want to transfer files on the FTP server, you’ll need to have FTP Client installed on your computer. The most websites and professional backup services today actually works through the FTP and allows you to upload necessary files to your server easily and fast.

Regarding to other traditional FTP clients, BitKinex gives you the modular user-interface. That means that every FTP location will be opened in the new window through the separated module which shows the FTP locations. You can see how exactly it looks on below screenshot.

It’s little difference approach, but it can be very useful when you get used of it. Specially if you tend to open multiple FTP locations at once and want to transfer the files between.
Transfers and Connections
BitKinex supports indirectly file transfers between FTP clients of any time. This is the feature that most free FTP client applications simply don’t support. So, it’s possible to transfer the files between FTP, SFTP, WebDav and other client types and formats.
Additionally, I specially like the multiple connections support when you upload or download something from the selected FTP clients. Of course, if your client or server supports multiple connections of the same user at once. This is very nice feature which allows you to upload and download much faster than with other similar free FTP clients which doesn’t supports multiple connections and sources.

This FTP Client applications supports more features and options only for you. I specially like the opportunity to resume, pause or cancel any uploads / downloads through this client. You can also setup the priority when something you download or upload through it.
Conclusions
BitKinex is, for sure, the most advanced free FTP client you can find on the internet. It has an impressive features, options and speed on most systems. Unfortunately, it’s available only for Windows operating system.
You might spend some time to get used on the new modular user-interface, but you’ll see how it can be functional and effective doing regular FTP work. Enjoy using it completely for free.
