DVD Shrink is a freeware application with which you can copy or backup your own DVD media in very easy, simple and fast way. It’s an application specially designed to copy, shrink, optimize and customize the main DVD source. On my computer, for one full DVD (original) takes not much than 5 minutes to copy full and best quality copy. It’s very impressive result, specially for this small and free application like DVD Shrink.
Also, I like option and function where you are able to compress or shrink the source DVD to selected size. Below, you can see that I’ve managed to save up to 1 GB more space from this specific DVD. Value for this can vary from DVD to DVD. Take note that this may increase overall Backup time.

Personally, I think this is the best application you can find on the internet to backup and copy your own DVD movies and videos. And that’s not related only to similar free applications!
DVD Shrink is fast, top quality, small and free application that you should have installed on your Windows desktop. It’s definitely a must-have application for all movie freaks!
