Stardock Fences - The most advanced icons organizing application!
We all like when we have a nicely organized desktop – well, the most of us. If you like your desktop to be organized properly, there is no better way to do this then with this cute little application. Fences helps you to organize your desktop icons into groups with a very good options.
You can also hide icons by double-clicking on your desktop free space. Allowing you to choose which icons are permanent and which icons are hidden when you do this!
User Interface and Features
Fences application has a very nice and modern user interface. Allowing you to work fast with all necessary information and options provided.
Creation of Fences (icons grouping area), is one of the easiest things to do! All you need to do is to draw the area on your desktop with right-mouse button and that is it! Now, you would need to name that fence (or leave it blank)! It is one of the easiest approach I have seen in years!
This screen on the left showing you the main configuration menu, where you can rename, delete or even add new fences from this window! All changes are changed in the real-time quickly and easily!
This application has not too much options, but hey, you do not need them! From others options, I would note you can change the colors of your fences, create a backup snapshots of them and show some additional visual behavior on them!
One thing I like the most about this application is that allows you to quickly hide the fences and other icons you do not want to show with double-click on your desktop!

Fences Requirements
Since Fences uses nearly no system resources, having the operating system is its only requirement. This application works on Windows XP, Vista and Win7 operating systems. Windows Vista and Windows 7 64-bit systems are officially supported too!
You can download and install this application completely for free for a personal use! Additionally, you can purchase a PRO version which can give you some more options! I think that 99% of users would be a 100% satisfied with this free version!
