Today, we have so much web browsers available for free. They giving us an opportunity to browse the internet easily, securely and fast! In this article, I’ll show you (with proves) which is the fastest browser on the world!

Including five most popular browsers, with their latest versions:

• Internet Explorer 8.0.7600 (in Windows 7 build 7600)
• Mozilla Firefox, version 3.5.2
• Apple Safari, version 4.0.3
• Google Chrome, version 3.0.195.10 (beta)

I have tested all these browsers on my Core 2 Duo computer, with 8 GB DDR2 and Windows 7 64-bit version, build 7600. I use my own broadband internet connection for this test.

How did I test?

I’ve used a lot of methods to determine the best possible results in the practice. You should know that I’ve do every single test 3 times (where’s possible) and take the average results for it!

I’ve to note that every browser installation went perfectly smooth on my computer.

• First test is the JavaScript speed test. I’ve used the simple and advanced JavaScript tests.
• Second test is a very important, it will show you how fast is a browser in the practice. I’ve measured the value in the seconds and use a complex site too, compared to the SoftBlogger site.
• Third test will show you how fast is the selected web browser when it works with images. I’ve used one small image and large image. Calculating and measuring the average value in the seconds.
• Fourth test is the Acid3 Test – An advanced browser compatibility test which is a very hard to beat! I’ve show you the initial value for this test – not the average because it’s not possible.

Look in the below table to see the results for all five web browsers and every test I’ve run.

As you can see on the above table, the best results are filled with green color. Of course, the worst results are filled with red color. Results are different for each web browser as you can see.

Conclusions

As you can see on the above table, results are pretty much different for the each web browser on the test. The real disappointment here is for sure the Internet Explorer – a 3 out of the 4 worst results. Anyway, I’d like to tell you that they’ve make some improvements, but obviously not enough to beat up competition.

In the other hand, Mozilla Firefox show us why it’s the most popular IE alternative. Relatively good with Acid3 Test (but not 100% pass), and the greatest and fastest browser when it comes to the Image and Website speed in practice. Also, Firefox gives us good JavaScript speed.

Apple Safari went good in this test. It’s the only one browser which doesn’t have any best or worst results, compared to the competition. Safari beats up Firefox and IE in Acid3 test anyway. I’ve to tell you that this browser is one of the most quality browsers on the test, with an average results.

Google Chrome show it’s core specially in the JavaScript speed. It was the fastest browser in the JavaScript on this test, much better than competition. Other results are good too and doesn’t get any worst-result on the test. And yes, Google Chrome has passed the complex Acid3 test completely.

I’ve always like Opera web browser. It’s a first browser which have support for the tabbed browsing and it was the first browser that can complete the Acid test completely. Through, it failed in the overall website speed, it’s a top-quality browser which support many features and options.

The Winner in this Web Browser Battle is for sure the Mozilla Firefox browser. Very fast in image loading and overall site speed which gives you good JavaScript speed and almost pass the popular Acid3 test. Absolutely the fastest, and probably the best way to browse the internet from your computer!
