Mac OS X version 10.6 Show Leopard is the seventh major release of Apple’s Mac OS X for desktop and server systems. This OS X version focuses on improving performance, efficiency and overall speed and improvements.
Most of the features are hidden under the hood and here I’ll show you mine top 10 best new features of the new Mac OS X Show Leopard edition. I’ll provide an images for each new feature (where’s possible).
1. Exchange Support
With Show Leopard, it’s the only Mac OS computer with integrated support for the latest version of Microsoft Exchange Server. From now, you can use your Mac with all the features and apps you love!

2. Dock Expose
A very cool feature in the new Show Leopard Mac OS X. All you need is to click-hold a Dock application and it open windows shown in cool Expose view. Minimized windows are shows also!

3. Improved Stacks
Dock stacks are viewed as grids and now have a scroll bar if there’re many items to show. You can also move up-down the folder hierarchy within the stack – very cool.

4. Malware Protection
Well, it’s still a new feature in the Mac OS X. Show leopard supports now the basic malware protection. Through it has a place for the improvements, it’s good to have it included.

5. Enhanced Viewing Options
In Finder you now can change more view options and features. You can sort your icons in column view, and even display icons in a much higher 512×512 pixels view.

6. Recording and Trimming in QuickTime
The new QuickTime X now can record from your Mac’s camera or screen, results can be trimmed and easily shared to iTunes or YouTube. Very similar function is included in the new iPhone OS.

7. Faster Wake and Shutdown
Apple claim that new Snow Leopard Mac OS X now wake and shutdown even 2 times faster! Well, I don’t know how but I can tell you that’s damn close to that! Also, installation is up to 50% faster!

8. Improved Keyboard Shortcuts Management
Snow Leopard now supports better and improved Keyboard Shortcuts management. These settings are provided in the new System Preferences pane, listed easily by category.

9. Minimized Windows Options
Snow Leopard now have a great feature that allows you to completely customize your Dock windows minimization process. Screenshot below show the customized settings.

10. Better works with Text
New Mac OS X now have a much better work with text files and preferences. Including smart text select, text replacement feature and much much more.
